Default Can't read death certificate initials

Please could some kind soul help me to read the initials in the Rank or Profession column and tell me what they mean? (B. D. R. something?) I also don't understand the meaning of the number in the same column.

    Is the surname Gregor?

There was a James A Gregor, soldier number 321020 in the Royal Garrison Artillery in WW1. Guessing he was a Bombardier hence the BDR and RGA

Yes, he was a Gregor! Thank you so much, emeltee ... that's brilliant detective work ... I would never have got that!
