Hi
I am stuck trying to find information on my uncles records, he served in the RAF India Command I have one letter from him that he sent to my dad dated 1943, it doesn't give his service number making it even harder his name was James Baguley, I am hoping someone can help me in some way

WW11 service records from 1920 onwards are still held by the MoD
This 'sticky' explains and gives a link to downloading the application forms. You will need 30 pounds and a copy of his death certificate. You do not need his service number but you could try searching on The National Archives site for it here
