I am trying to identify a campaign ribbon found amongst the medals of my relative killed in WW1. I have searched all sites I can out with success. I am hoping someone can help me.
3 equal vertical stripes
Navy / Red / Orange or Brown or the other way around depending on which way round you have the ribbon. There is no medal with it.

Welcome to British Genealogy.
Which service was he in - army?
If all else fails, give us his name and number (it’ll be on the rim of his other medals) and someone can look his index card up.

Hi Lesley,
Sergeant Richard Oliver Williamson 1808063 was in the RAF Volunteer Reserve. I made an error in my original query, i meant WW2 rather than WW1.

Why not take a trip to the library and browse through something like the Medal Yearbook?
