Hi I have been researching my family tree on and off for the past 5 years and have traced my ancestors all the way back to the 12th Century. I had a break of just over 18 months inbetween then and now but I have since retired and have really got back into it again. They say it's good to keep your mind active and it is certainly filling my days...I don't know where the time has gone!

We all probably started off the same way thinking we would just find out about a couple of our ancestors and before we realise it we are sidetracked and becoming entangled in little branches far removed from the main branch. As if that isn't enough to keep us busy we love helping others knock down their brick walls. So much more interesting and stimulating than doing the domestics.
