    Default Thank you for letting me join your community

    Hello everyone - I hopefully now have more time to discover my family history and I have inherited a very large amount of old papers which I hope to sort and store properly for the future. Lots of interesting records to discover too. Yesterday I found a newspaper clipping of my first voyage to Africa from the UK. The ship Toscana sailed from Venice in 1948 and there was a typhoid outbreak on board which made a few headlines. I love smileys
