Apologies if this turns out to be some thing blindingly obvious I haven't thought of.

I found the baptism of Thomas HARTLEY, son of John and Ann, in 1771 in Adingfleet, Yorkshire. It can be found amongst the Yorkshire baptisms on FMP.

The baptism is preceded by the abbreviation Eas:
Other baptisms on the same page appear to be preceded by either Han: Foc: or Ad:

Can anyone enlighten me as to what this means please?
