    Hi

    I'm John, ex Royal Signals (hence the username). I've been involved in Research for about 8 years but I've been researching my family tree for longer. It's taken awhile to gather information as family members appear in a variety of countries including Ireland & India, which I find to be awkward when it comes to locating relevant information.

    Welcome in John. Your family sounds like mine - in my immediate family none of us share the same birth country!
