    Having a look at Ancestry, there are very few Dovenors, but most appear to be located in Yorks, one or two of them in Wigan. Because there are so few, they are likely to be all related and I'm seeing a Charles Dovenor married an Elizabeth, I'm guessing between 1780/1790.......Any bets that is Margaret Dovenors father. Her firstborn was a 'Charles' in 1811.

    Sarah Dovenor 1791
    Henrietta Dovenor 1789
    Hannah Dovenor - Daughter of Charles and Elizabeth
    John Dovenor - Son of Charles and Eliz
    Jane Dovenor - Daughter of Charles and Elizabeth (at Find My Past)

    I wonder if another deviation of Dovenor, could be 'Dover'?
