    Default Cheese Factor

My ancestor's occupation was listed on various documents as a cheese factor. Can anyone tell me what this was as the internet just talks about 'cheesy' movies etc. THank you

Somerset Voices has an interview about Crump & Way, Wells, at one time the largest cheese factor in Britain. https://www.somersetvoices.org.uk/peo...id4=872&char=W

Ah, but if he sold cheese cake maybe he was into 'cheesy movies' after all! (cf. beef cake)
