Default Looking for John Rowlands information

We are trying to find details of a John Rowlands born in Morriston Wales in 1887, who later married Margaret Hannah John on 7/11/1904.
We have Johns birth and marriage certificate but he appears to have vanished, he is on the 1911 census but then nothing and his wife is documented as living in Middlesbrough around 1920?
    Many Thanks.

Have you looked at the 1939 Register on Findmypast?

    Hello Pete,

    Welcome to British-Genealogy.

You might have found him in 1911 but I can't find an obvious John, so can you tell us where he's living, if he's with Margaret, and if you can give the census reference it will be a really big help.

Smile Further info on John Rowlands

    Hi Pam.
Many thanks for the swift reply, sorry I was not as fast but we have been trying to piece the pieces together with our available info, as of yet with no joy.
Regarding residence I have attached(hopefully) some documents that show the family residence at given times and we are now trying to trace why his wife came to live with her sister in Mills Street Middlesbrough in 1920.
    Many Thanks.
    Pete Best.

The family is missing from ancestry

Have you followed the Rowlands family from 1911 in Swansea, i.e place of marriage of children

    Hi Plumbian,

Unfortunately it has been necessary to remove the census image you posted in line with Findmypast's T&C's.

You could transcribe the census details and post them, but please don't copy and paste. Thank you.

    Hi Christina.
Your search would appear to be one of John Rowlands two sons and he also had a daughter Gweny.
So to give you the 1911 census info that we have and some certificates John Rowlands was the head of the household at 23 and a clay miner, Margaret Hannah Rowlands was his wife of 24 years of age and a house domestic, Gweny Rowlands was his daughter at school and 5 years old, then William Joseph Rowlands at school and 4 years old with Daniel John Rowlands being the youngest at 1 year old and in 1911 they were residing at Quar House on Quar Road in Morriston.
It is finding when John left Wales, if he ever did? the big problem as his wife was living with her sister Caroline Johns at 66 Mill Street Middlesbrough in 1920 but there was no mention of John being on the scene.
I have also attached some certificates that may help.
    Many Thanks.

There appears to be a problem uploading images at the moment so will try later.
