Default I can't work out this address

I can't read this address on a marriage banns record. All I know is that it's in London - most likely in the Hackney area. I've made a few guesses but had no luck so far

That's what I was thinking but I can't find any such place.

I found a Mortimer Road in Hackney. Could it be a misspelling of that?

Do you have a date for the marriage? Have you tried looking for bride and groom on the Censuses?

Banns? I've never seen an address in a banns register.

It looks like Mortimore Road to me, too.

The date of marriage is 1865. The reason I want to know the address is because I'm trying to find the bride - Ann Auvache - on the 1861 census but I've had no luck so far. In 1851 she was living with her parents in Bethnal Green on Manchester Street, she married William Rew in the parish of Shoreditch, borough of Hackney, then in 1871 she is living in Bethnal Green again (Wennington Road) with her husband and 3 children.

One theory I have at the moment is that she was working as a servant somewhere in Hackney and that's how she met her husband. I haven't been able to find the whereabouts of her parents either in 1861.

Thank you for looking but I don't think that's her. Her parents were William and Ann Auvache.

Sorry, the writing on the 1851 I mentioned is appalling and I thought may say Manchester Street. Also, you didn't mention Ann's parents names or her birth year, when and where was she born and can you post the reference for the 1851 census please.
