Can anyone tell me if there is anyway of finding my grandads sign up papers he was a marine after 1942 and cant find his records on Ancestry or what uniform he wore as we only have a sketched drawing in his dress.
If anyone can point me in the right direction for paper and also what they wore the uniform colours.

Service records after 1920 are still held by the MoD This link explains and gives links where you can download application forms. It will cost you 30 pounds and you will need the death certificate.
