Golda Cohen and Harry Moses

I have some details on Golda Cohen (daughter of Louis and Selina) Feb 10,1882 Whitechappel as a child, but heard she committed suicide. It may have happened after her son Alfred Moses died in Singapore during the WW2, whose record I have found. Golda and Harry had Solly (Solomon ?) and Mark who married Miriam with red hair! xx and Ginnie, who married an American GI who apparently died at the Battle of the Bulge 1944, of a burst appendix .. all these details I was told and maybe they are clues
I would love any details I can get, and totally grateful to anyone that reads this and helps.

I have no other details. Not sure where she died, although I wonder if we pursue Harry more, we may see where. As I said below, she may have killed herself.

Thank you for that. Harry=Henry? Interesting. I wondered ... Augusta... not sure either.
How can I look into this further?
The census below says Louis Cohen HM. what does HM stand for?

I will cross check with Free BMD but Sidney maybe Solly/Solomon- and other children Mark, Ginnie may have been born later. I of course, may have the wrong family so will need to look further.

The census initials are H for Head of family and M for Married or Un for Unmarried/S for single; wid for widow or widower- depends on the recorder for accuracy and who the informant at the time of census was also if they were telling the truth- lots of variables.

These appear to be the later children of Henry/Augusta:


Jeanette Moses mother's maiden name COHEN June qtr 1916 Whitechapel 1c 421

Mark Moses mother's maiden name COHEN Dec qtr 1911 Mile End 1c 693

You may want to get the GRO Marriage Certificate for Henry/Augusta and at least 1 of the GRO Birth Certificates for Mark or Jeanette. This would at least confirm that you have the right family.

just spoke to my aunty in London who named the street as Verden street. Funny what pops up when a different set of info comes up. Shes 93.... but.. He was a tailor. They had a workshop above their home making waistcoats ...that would make Alfred 34 when he died in the war...(56225415 Cemetery Singapore Memorial Birth: unknown Death: Sep. 15, 1943 Note: Sapper, Queen Victoria's Own Madras Sappers and Miners. The surname of Henry the father in law of Julius Moses should read WEZEL. Henry appears in earlier census records.
