    hi all, i'm a newbie at this research lark, would love to know any information relating to my grandfather George Arthur Hope Flynn, especially relating to his time as captain on ss Anchesis during ww1. thanks in advance supermags x

    I tried searching the National Archives site for the ship and any records they may hold and was unsuccessful until I used the spelling Anchises and it gave many results. I filtered them down to the perriod 1900-1920 but haven't read any of them. Here
