    Have you compared the signature with the marriage cert to Harriet BROWN in 1852. Even though there has been a fair passage of time you should at least be able to tell if it is a similar hand.

    I think she is probably Emma in 1871 (Class: RG10; Piece: 64; Folio: 55; Page: 34)

    Thank you for the excellent tip. Unfortunately the certified copy of the marriage cert I have, appears to have been written by the same person. ie the bride/groom and witnesses names/info appears to be written by the same hand as all the other information on the certificate. Appears I need to visit LMA as suggested by another member. Appreciate you help and advice.
