Hi
I am found 2 medals from the Boer War in my Grandfathers old box of documents. I think due to his age they must belong to his father or his fathers brothers. I have found some possibilities of his brothers on the site however there are several people with the same name I wondered if I can check further in their records as I know their DOB and this might shed further light.

Welcome to the British-Genealogy forums
If you came to us from Forces War Records reading this will tell you how and why you got here.
Different sites are licensed to hold different records and what records each pay per view site holds is available to view before paying money to access. The content of individual records can vary considerably.
If you would like to give us the names of the people you are researching, their dates and places of birth we could take a look at various sources our members have access to and see if there is anything to be found.
