    Default Uncle murdered

My mother's parents first child was murdered. My grandparents were Patrick Hayes born in 1892 and Ellen Louisa Watkins born 1892, they were married in 1911 and lived in Campbell Road Finsbury Park London, also known as The Bunk, their son Patrick Walter was born and died in 1911 but I can't find his birth or death dates on Find My Past. Any help would be appreciated.

I just fed the child's name into the search engine of the British Newspaper archive, and got hits immediately. If you have a sub for the BNA or FMP (which has newspapers), or your local library does, have a look.
There were actually 2 babies involved - yours and a boy of 9 weeks who survived (at least until a hearing on 10 Nov when it wasn't known if he would survive)... There's a death reg for Leonard G Probert aged 0 in Islington for the start of 1912, so I guess that he didn't...

I found the transcript of the trial on the Old Bailey and I can hardly believe that the man who murdered the baby who would have been my uncle got 12 months hard labour as a sentence!!!
Thank you so much for your help in this matter.
