    Mis-filed (not indexed) & mixed with another man in the WW1 Service Records (WO 363):

    Thomas Colvin BEWSHER, a Coal Merchant of Parton, Cumberland. (Birth registered Q1 1877).

    Joined the Border Regt in February 1915, declared age 38y 52d, born Distington. Regt No: 19811.
    KIA 1916/1917.

    Wife Dinah CORLETT. Son Robert born 1914, died 1915 (Death Certificate in records).
    Brother-in-law James CORLETT - also of Parton, possibly the sub-postmaster.
