Has any one any details of Simeon Wheatcroft from Saddleworth Yorkshire or Oldham Lancashire I am trying to find his service record in the second world war. I am his youngest son Fred Wheatcroft

If you read the message at the top of this forum HERE, you will see that WW2 service records have not yet been released for general publication. If your father is alive, he will have to apply for copies himself (but he will not have to pay). If not, then as his next of kin you can buy a set. It'll cost you 30 quid, and you'll need a copy of his death certificate. The links are all in that post.
