    Wink Recording Oral Histories

I was lucky enough to get my mom to record what she could recall about the Tapply family history. Now we have phones and cameras and all kinds of things to help us. I wrote about my mom's oral history in my latest blog post.

At the end there are two links that might help someone get started. I urge you to do this while the family is still around!

    How right you are.

In 1993 it was my parents Golden Wedding Anniversary. It was the first time my father and his 3 brothers and sister had all been together for many years. They all got talking about their childhood in Carlisle (all the time their Carlisle accents getting stronger). It was wonderful and I really wish I had a recording of it.
