Married by banns at Glinton Northamptonshire on 13 April 1852, James SMITH, aged 28, bachelor, wheelwright, of Bridge Casterton in the county of Rutland, and Anna Maria Williamson, 24, spinster, of Glinton.

His father : James Smith, shoemaker
Her father Samuel William, Master of the Peakirk-cum-Glinton National School

It would appear that Bridge Casterton is more usually known as Great Casterton.

I've put James was from Uffington (Lincs) in the thread title, because that's where he was living (and said he was born) in 1851 and and 1861. There was a James Smith baptised in Uffington, 11 January 1824. Son of James and Sarah, father's occupation shoemaker.
