There is no easy way to find what you are looking for. You just need to check and eliminate using the information you already have which at this point is just that father William is a Tailor, Elizabeth was born 25 April c1907, possibly in Glasgow.

Please keep in mind that I am only using indexes and transcriptions so everything should be followed up by you looking at the original images on ScotlandsPeople.

There is a family living in Glasgow in 1901:

There is a William Warren Mcpherson b 1897 Glasgow ( Kelvin area) died 1900 Glasgow ( Milton area)

There are some big gaps in the children that show on the census entries so it is likely that William and Mary lost some children.

I think this could be diagnosed as being bitten by the Family history bug!

I presume you have followed all the information we have given to you and concluded that this is YOUR Elizabeth Mcpherson family

You have William Mcpherson married Mary Mechan, if you look at the marriage entry you should find a column for details of William's father, in this case Dundee10 expects it to be Angus Mcpherson, on the same block it should show Ianet Mcpherson MS ( denoting mothers maiden surname) this should show Warren.

Your next challenge is to work out approx. when they were married or find them on a census return

I just readily cannot finds a marriage for Angus this would be earlier then 1844 when the first child appears to have been borm
