    Default Uniforms



    Could anyone shed some light on the soldiers, apart from the soldiers stood at the ends left and right are the others Russian and if so could anyone recognise the uniforms. My wifes father is the one stood on the left KOYI.
    This photo was found amongst his effects and we wondered about the photo and soldiers.

    Yes, definitely Russian except the one in the middle and both ends standing.
    The ones with side caps are enlisted men and the others officer ranks although I am no expert. The Unforms date it from 1940-50 approx.
    The Soldier on the left ground holds a PPSH soviet machinegun, I cant really see what the one on the right has but it could be a German MP40
