    Default Raper Family of North Yorkshire

    At this time, I believe my US Raper family descends from John, a son of Henry Raper (bapt 1668), the Rector of Finghal. I know that Henry's father was William Raper (born 1629), Merchant of York and that his father was also named William (born ca 1596), of Anderby near Thirsk. I'm hoping there are others working this line on this forum. I would like to determine who the wives were. I am also thinking of coming to this area of Yorkshire to do some research. Any help appreciated.
