I assume the father of John Stevens is Robert, no mothers name mentioned, which is not unusual.
BucksFHS would be my first port of call, as not all records are online, in fact, not that many at all but improving.
BucksFHS can do a marriage search from their extensive databses, for Robert Steevens (and variations of the name) marriages, for a very modest fee of £1, per 100 year search in Bucks. The years will only go back to about the mid 1530's, up to 1901.
I have Stevens in my tree, but I do't think connected to Bledlow......as yet.
Steve.Too many bones, too much sorrow, but until I am dead, there's always tomorrow.
