    Click on, zoom and scroll to top of map - note "Aberbrwynen". The camp area was bounded by the railway line and the river (dotted line)
    There's an OS map of the camp location - which shows "Aberbrwynen" - and a google earth shot of the area.

    Thank you once again, no I hadn't hit on that page. So much to look at - I am going to see if I can see him anywhere. Just strange to think he would be around when a lot of those photographs were taken.

    I shall write a story of the camps to go with his war record write up.
