    Default Hello All

    Hi all,

I've been dabbling on and off for a few years now. Researching Jeffries, Lee, and I've left the Smiths to last! Recently trying to sort out R6030 EB Jeffries and the Kings Royal Rifle Corps. He was wounded in WW1, recovered then captured but survived!

Hi, thanks for the welcome. I've seen two entries in POW registers. Is there red cross records of wounded? He was transferred to Rouen field hospital and Great Malvern VAD hospital. I think he was shot at an action in Feb 1917 but not sure of the part of KRRC he was serving in at the time. Boom Ravine was one action at that time.
