Hello happyros,
Welcome to British-Genealogy.
Yes, BG is free, so can I ask if you have paid money to anyone?
If you joined us via Forces War Records then you may have thought you had to pay them.
First of all, if you did join us via FWR, please read this which explains the connection between us.
FWR has records which you can search for free, only paying if you want to see the record.
So unless you've viewed a record on FWR, you shouldn't have paid any money. If you have paid by mistake, then please contact FWR direct and explain the situtation.

If I've completely misunderstood your comment, then hopefully we can help you find your ancestors.
Gather all the details you have about the first person you'd like help with (name, likely birth date, birthplace, if you've found them on any census and if so where they were living), post them in an appropriate forum, and our sleuths will get to work.
