Default Alfred SERLE b btwn 1815/17

Following on from my other thread [William SERLE b 1785 Devonport] I have taken another look at some of the primary evidence. Alfred SERLE was a child of William SERLE and Mary WHITAKER [There is a marriage 20 Jan 1805 St. George, East Stonehouse. William was a Cordwainer and seems to have had a boot and shoe business in Devonport with Son William.
On Alfred's marriage certificate to Eliza Paine [12 Aug 1841 Charles the Martyr, Plymouth] Alfred's occupation is shown also as a Cordwainer.
I am unable to make out the name of the street name on the copy that I have. Does Charles the Martyr still exist? Is there an OPC that might be able to de-cypher the address? It appears to be ?EAKER Street.
Whilst not ready to rule out my Alfred from being the Alfred SERLE baptised 6 Dec 1815 Kingsand. I am now thinking this is less likely when considering all the other SERLE's are linked to Devonport/Stoke Damerel.
Alfred's death [26th Nov 1888 records his abode as 31 Mount Street, Devonport] at age 72 means that his birth would have been 1817. Many thanks for any thoughts or advice.

Alfred and Eliza's marriage certificate can be viewed on FMP.
I'm unsure whether I can tell you the street name (which can be clearly seen) because of FMP's T&C's.

Dec 1888 Death of Alfred SERLE age 71, Stoke D. Vol no 5b, Page no 219.

This would make birth round about 1817

Dates can be questionable as information is only as good as the person giving it knows.

On F S Over all date range's from 1700 to 1840 for the name Alfred Serle born Devon, England their are only 5 hits, they are 2 christening the same 3 census 51,61 and 81 also found 71 on A.

Hm, not sure about that. Isn't that tantamount to doing a look-up?

Besides, Geoff1959 might have a sub to FMP.

I don't know if geoff has a sub to FMP. but who is going to know if you share the information through a Private Massage unless you tell (broadcast) some one else about it.
