So sorry, it seems that I neglected to introduce myself before jumping right in and availing myself of the aid of some of the regulars! Leave it to an American, my Mother would probably say!!
My Mother of Ipswich, Suffolk descent recently passed away and I am going to search my heritage from HER side of the Atlantic.

I think I also sneaked in by the backdoor in 2004.

You have been going great guns with your Sparrow ancestors which is very rewarding. Keep an eye on the forums just in case we need your help for stuff in the US but just join in anywhere/time you like.
I usually just click on Today's posts at the left of the blue bar at the top of the page rather than scrolling through all the forums. Unless I have a few hours to spare because I know once I start reading it can be very addictive. :biggrin"
