Hi Janet
We have explored some of these lines but without success. Unfortunately with such a common name there are a lot of William Parry's on the CWGC website and we've tried to cross reference with the surviving pension records and the 1911 Census to eliminate some but this still might be worth doing an exercise on. We've checked electoral rolls up to 1913 but there is then a gap in the Newcastle under Lyme reference library up to 1933 when there is no sign of William living with Florence or his daughter and son-in-law. I don't know if there is anywhere else we can look for the missing electoral rolls but apparently the ones which used to held in Newcastle were sent for paper pulp in WW2! Haven't looked for local directories or an emigration record yet.

You mention William PARRY was assessed under section 4 of the Poor Rate Assessment and Collection Act 1869.
