looking for info on Great Grandfather

I only know about Ellen Robinson who was my maternal grandmother. Sadly she died shortly after George moved to Birmingham in 1939 in Belfast. My mother was only 8 yrs old at the time but she remembers that he was getting married again either prior to moving on once in Birmingham. She never heard about him after that. She never knew any of her mothers family sadly so this is a difficult one for me to confirm. Coincidentally I have made contact with a distant cousin through DNA and we have just discovered the connection with Alfred through his paternal great grandmother Alice Robinson wife of Daniel Mulholland. From the dates we have found we think Alice was an Aunt to George. My distant cousin was adopted at birth so on this occasion DNA has worked. Thanks again.

you could order his death certificate and see who the informant was? lots of George Robinson marriages in Birmingham around 1940-50.If i can help any further,,let me know. regards Mike,
