Hi
Hope you can help I am trying to find Walter Henry Laughlin born abt 1865 Ipswich, wife Rosa Ann 1866, the youngest children from 1901 are Albert V 1892, Mabel A 1893 and Hilda D 1897.
I found a death for Walter in 1921 he was living at The Bungalow Grove Lane, Ipswich, but I can not find the family on the 1911 census if you can help I would really appreciate it.
Kind regards Sue

1. Take into account the possibility that he may have a new wife.
2. Use wild cards eg Walter L?UGH*

He's there in 1911 under Walter Henry Laughlin (FMP) but Terms/Conditions preclude posting details. However, had you spotted ?
Ipswich Journal, 4 Aug 1900
"FURIOUS DRIVING - Walter Henry Laughlin, Grocer, Woodbridge Road, was charged in his absence with furious driving. - Mr J H Ryley, who appeared for the defendant, said he pleaded guilty. - Police Constable Elmy was at Westgate Railway Station when the defendant came up at 16 miles an hour, and when the constable spoke to him he was very abusive.- A fine of 20s and 16s 6d costs, or 14 days hard labour, was imposed."
So,what was he driving?
Did Walter marry Maud Lydia Bendall, 1909?"dyfal donc a dyr y garreg"
