    Default william prescott

    Born 1909, liverpool. Reputed to be "in RAF Intelligence" and stationed in Gibralta 1939-1943. Any info?

    Welcome to British-Genealogy.

    You may have come to us via Forces War Records in which case this will tell you a little more about us.

    Under certain conditions you can apply for William's service records which are still held by the Ministry of Defence. However to do this you need to send a copy of his death certificate which, from the wording of your query, you will not have. Details of how to apply can be found here.

    If the details you've given are basically all you know about William then I would suggest that you join Forces Reunited who are more of a 'contacting' site than we are.
