    Default Looking of Great Great Great Grandfather

    I am trying to find info on a family member William Henry Alison, married to Caroline (unsure of correct spelling for maiden name) Yual had son Charles Alison born in 1858 Hampstead Middlesex England, as far as we know on his sons marriage certificate he served in the 79th regiment of foot as a Colonel. that is all we have to go on at this stage. any help would be greatly appreciated.

    its a history of the 79th foot also called THE QUEENS OWN CAMERON HIGHLANDERS. (Cameronian Volunteers) .
