Is your man the one who is aged 33 in 1851 with wife Rachael and three children, living at 16 Little Brook St? HO107/1493/738/57

We just need to establish his approximate date of birth and anything else you might know about him.

If he is the above mentioned John Rumbol, scagliola worker (confess I had to look that up!) then his marriage to Rachael Woodley in 1846 is amongst the original LMA records on Ancestry.

There is no Thomas listed with them. Also 1841 census does not give relationships. I also looked at the next 5 pages and couldn't see a Thomas.
If Thomas' parents are John and Susannah where do James and the two Sarah's fit in?

rum142, looking back at your threads I think what has happened here is that you have been given wrong information in the past which was quoted from a poor transcription.....

I Thomas Rumble chasers, there is this one below, I have looked at the original and it could very well be RUMBLE.

There is a death registration in the June qtr 1840 at St George in the East reg district for a John RUMBAL which may prove relevant to you. His burial record is available to view on Ancestry and took place on 24 May 1840 at St George in the East, John RUMBAL, Sampson's Gardens, aged 55 - unfortunately no clue as to his occupation. No, we can discount him as his PCC Will appears on Ancestry and he is a Master Mariner with a wife Esther.
