Need a bit more information if you have it date of birth, etc
If you have him on the 1841 census what did it say.

I have moved your post to the London Forum as it may not attract much notice in Navigating Brit-Gen
Is your man the one who is aged 33 in 1851 with wife Rachael and three children, living at 16 Little Brook St? HO107/1493/738/57
We just need to establish his approximate date of birth and anything else you might know about him.
If he is the above mentioned John Rumbol, scagliola worker (confess I had to look that up!) then his marriage to Rachael Woodley in 1846 is amongst the original LMA records on Ancestry.Sue Mackay

Just to help me get a handle on things
Baptism Thomas Rumbell
Christened 1 September 1824 at Upper Street Independent Islington London
Born 9 June 1824
father John Rumbell
Mother Susanna Griffiths
Living at 5 Hanley Road St Mary Islington East Middlesex 1841 HO107 Piece 664 Book 15 Page 1
Transcribed as Brimble on ancestry
James Rumble 71/1770 born in County? yes
Sarah Rumble 53/1788 Yes
Sarah Rumble 14 Yes
There is no Thomas listed with them. Also 1841 census does not give relationships. I also looked at the next 5 pages and couldn't see a Thomas.
If Thomas' parents are John and Susannah where do James and the two Sarah's fit in?

rum142, looking back at your threads I think what has happened here is that you have been given wrong information in the past which was quoted from a poor transcription.....
As Christina has posted, the first person in that household is James RUMBLE aged 71, not Thomas RUMBLE aged 11.
So you are still looking for Thomas RUMBLE on the 1841 census who would have been aged about 17 years, possibly rounded down to 15 years.

Do you have the baptisms of siblings to Thomas, i.e. - source Ancestry's London Parish Registers:
Frederick John born 6 March 1830, parents John & Susannah RUMBELL, 8 Compton Street, Clerkenwell, Stone? Maker, baptised 14 April 1830 at Islington Upper Street Independent
George baptised 2 September 1822 at St James, Clerkenwell, son of John & Susannah RUMBELS, Taylors Row, Whitesmith
Could this be Susannah & son George in the 1841 census of St George in the East, Middlesex (HO107/696/3, folio 34, page 18):
Tench Street
Susanah RUMBOLD 53 Born in the county yes
George do 17 Smith no
There is a death registration in the June qtr 1840 at St George in the East reg district for a John RUMBAL which may prove relevant to you. His burial record is available to view on Ancestry and took place on 24 May 1840 at St George in the East, John RUMBAL, Sampson's Gardens, aged 55 - unfortunately no clue as to his occupation. No, we can discount him as his PCC Will appears on Ancestry and he is a Master Mariner with a wife Esther.

Another possible variation of the surname and a possible death for Susannah?
Susannah Rumblo, September 1/4 1845 Shoreditch vol 2 page 272
There is a death registration for a John Rumbell Dec 1/4 1837 registration district Brentford.
