    Eric M. Brown's entry on Wikipedia is worth reading, even if it's not him.. The small problem is that he was RN, not RAF, although he seems to have flown RAF aircraft. HERE


    There's also S/L Maurice Peter Brown AFC 1919-2011. HERE He was one of the Few. He's the only RAF Brown with the AFC shown on this excellent website HERE

    Hmm, All WW11 service records are held by the MoD and can be applied for - IF the applicant has a death certificate and is willing to part with 30 pounds. The death certificate being the biggest stumbling block.
