    Default 15th Regiment of Hussars

I am researching into William Rook - I believe from Kendal in Westmorland (Cumbria).
He was born about 1796 and I suspect he was conscripted into the 15th Regiment of Hussars (5th Cavalry) during the Napoleonic Wars.
Does anyone have any links or information I could follow up as to where the men in this regiment were enlisted or what became of them?
Are there any records of conscripted men into the army during around 1810-1815?
    Thank you

There was no conscription at the time of the Napoleonic Wars.

I would suggest you read the National Archives guides - this one is a good one to start with. This will give you a feel for what's possible and where you might find it online. If you don't find your man by following their advice, give us a shout.
