    I am unable to find the marriage for her Father John who married Ann. I understood their marriage was
    1884 Reg. Q1 1884 Merthyr Tydfil. 11a 633 to Ann JENKINS. I don't know if this is correct

    Using FreeBMD names John Lewis and spouse Ann Jenkins, 1883 to 1886 there are 3 marriages with these names on the same page. The one you quote 1884 Merthyr Tydfil reg dist, the others are Pontardawe 1883 and Pontypridd 1884 so the Merthyr Tydfil most likely yours.
