    Default South Devon Coroners Office

Hello, I am looking for an inquest / pathology report from the South Devon Coroners Office , oct / nov 1965 that was carried out on a skeleton that was found when work was carried out on Oreston Quay, Plymouth.

Where do I look? The Western Morning News reported the skeleton find I believe , does any one have any information?

    Thanks Graham.

I would try your local library and see if they digital newspaper archive access. In Lancashire the libraries have accounts with Gale and the Times, and I can access these from home .... although tonight the council's server isn't responding!

You will need to access the Torbay and South Devon Coroner's Office as the inquest was held after 1949. Info on the different Devon coroners' offices here: https://www.devon.gov.uk/coroners__re...yandsouthdevon. The one you want is at the bottom, then click through for all the info on contacting them.
