    Smile Mathew Batten b 1617?

    Hi,
    I have Mathew baptising Mary (1641), Eliazer (1643), Dorothie (1645) and Mathew (1649) all in Tidcombe, Wilts. I am trying to find Mathew's (dad) birth / baptism, according to family trees on the internet he was born in 1617 in Wilts but the sources all seem to be other internet family trees. Has anyone come across a Mathew Batten whilst doing their own research please? There's a chance it could be Berkshire and an outside chance that it's Hampshire. Thanks Susan

    Is this where the trees on ancestry got the 1617 baptism date?

    You could order the film in at your nearest LDS centre just to see if there is any further information on it that hasn't been transcribed.
