    Default Black Watch/Royal Highlanders 1904 - 1920

Does anyone have any information relating to the Black Watch /Royal Highlanders (Irish Battalion). They had a camp near Creiff (Woodhead Camp). I am trying to find out about a B.H.Hall who served in this outfit. There may be a link to WW1 Transport section based at Leese in the London area. I have about 30 interesting Post Cards of the Battalion some of which were postally used.
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thank,s

It seems to be that your first port of call should be the Black Watch Museum HERE.

    Are these family cards?

Thank you for your advice Lesley. Yes, they are distant family Post Cards, I acquired them from my great uncle in Stradbally, Eire in 1961.

The only Hall with the initial B (no middle initial) I can find in the Service Medal and Award Rolls and the Medal Rolls Index Cards is this one. There are H B Halls but not in the Black Watch/Royal Highlanders

    Benjamin Hall
    Rank - Private
British War Medal and Victory Medal
Regiment - Black Watch (Royal Highlanders)
    Regimental number - S/12200
    Previous Units - 10/R.H. Pte. S/12200
