Sperring family in Burnham, Somerset

Hi all. I am researching my grandmother, possibly a Florence Jane Sperring, born in 1890 in Burnham, Somerset (FreeBMD Index and 1891 and 1901 Censuses). And her brother , A William (John) Sperring, born in 1888 in Weston-super-mare, Somerset. It is believed that this William Sperring joined the South Wales Borderers regiment in 1914 or thereabouts but need proof. I have found some military records of a William Sperring in the South Wales Borderers regiment but I have not yet irrefutably linked him to the William Sperring born as above.

Does anyone have any knowledge of either Florence Jane Sperring, born in 1890 in Burnham, Somerset or William (John ?) Sperring, born in 1888 in Weston-super-mare, Somerset.
