Default Marriage: Pollard, Skinner: Marylebone 1897

I have a marriage certificate that is not for the man I was looking for:
Alfred William Pollard age 40, to Mary Ann Skinner, age 40 he was a bachelor, she was a widow.
Alfred was of 33 John Street, Marylebone, a chemist's assistant, son of Edwin Pollard, deceased, a jeweller.
Mary Ann was of the same address, no occupation, daughter of Edward Rose, a monumental mason (not noted as deceased).
They were married at the register office, Marylebone, London.
Witnesses were Albert Miller and William Theodore Lawrence.

Not the best idea in the world but it's worth it. You could try tracing descendants of this couple to hand over the certificate to.
