In a previous thread Edward, Theodore, Harry, Hart Pincus-Brothers I posted data on Edward Pincus and also referred readers to an earlier thread on Theodore Pincus who in had married his second wife Sarah Agnes Solomon nee Hart.
In this post I will provide data on Henry aka Harry Pincus born 13 April 1821 and died 28 August 1892 Norfolk Virginia US.
Findagrave site has data on Henry aka Harry Pincus and his wife Charlotte aka Lottie. The data has Harry Pincus b April 13,1821 died August 28 1892 buried Hebrew Cemetery Norfolk City Virginia US and his wife Lottie b February 1823 died December 4 1877 Plot B1 Lot 48 Hebrew Cemetery Norfolk City. The data does not confirm whether or not the two are buried together or in adjoining plots.
Family trees indicate that Lottie was Charlotte Ephraim Jacobs but I have seen no evidence to confirm this.
However, their daughter Gertrude Pincus Birth Certificate Philadelphia Pennsylvania 12 Sept 1848 records her parents as Henry and Lotte Pincus.
The Naturalisation Index US shows Henry Pincus October 13 1856 Nationality Dane Witness Theodore Pincus 25th St NY City and 8th April 1856 Philadelphia Henry Pincus b Germany aged 25 renounced allegiance to the King of Denmark 18th Sept 1856.
Henry's death index record shows Henry Pincus b abt 1823 Germany died 28 August 1892 Norfolk Virginia US aged 69 widowed.
The US Civil War Draft Registration shows Henry Pincus residence NY Class 2 aged 40 b abt 1823 Denmark West 13th NY Professional Occupation - Vinegars.
