ancestry on their support page 2016 said
" it is only possible to search the 1911 UK Census by address. You can do this by leaving all search fields empty and type the address into the 'Keyword' section, once you do that the site will search for the address."

Can only browse for the address needed now. Here's how

On the 'search' page RH side, click on UK census under the Special Collections/Census & Electoral Rolls banners.
Scroll down the page to Included data collections and click on the census year you need-

RH column - Browse this collection
Choose - County, Civil Parish
It then brings up a menu of enumeration districts which when clicked on brings up the first image which lists the streets in that district. You can then scroll through the images until you find the street and house number you want.
