Default Death of W J Glover

Can anyone help? I've been told there is a death registered of William John Glover in 1926 in Sussex. If this is correct I would like a reference so I can get a copy of the certificate. Nothing has been transcribed on fbmd yet.

    Any help would be appreciated.

There isn't one in 1926. Or indeed 5 years either side.

It looks as though you'll have to broaden your search parameters. You can do so on FreeBMD.org.
    Good luck!

Deaths in 1926 have been fully transcribed in FreeBMD. There are coverage charts on the information pages.

When and where was he last known to be living? What's the name of his widow or next of kin?

If Sussex is right, all I can see are

    Deaths Sep 1952
    GLOVER William J 52 Eastbourne 5h 198
    GLOVER William J 82 Lewes 5h 355

Thank you everyone for your help. It looks as if I've been given 'duff' information. William John was born about 1900 (no idea where or exactly when). The death in Eastbourne is not my WJG as I've been in touch with his family. I knew his spouse very well (my grandmother) but she refused to talk about WJG and remarried in 1927.

Are you sure that he was William? I did notice a Walter J. who died in '23....

Do you have the 1927 marriage certificate? If so is your grandmother described as a widow?
