    Default Destitutes Board South Australia

Hi, does anyone know whether the records of the Destitutes Board in South Australia are still in existence, and if so, where are they kept and can they be accessed? I've found several newspaper reports of the Board's meetings from the 1850s that mention people I'm researching, but I'm wondering if there are any records that would give me more details. Thanks

A google search for 'Destitutes Board in South Australia' brings up this page, https://www.

This page might be useful as it gives file references and dates.

Thanks Pam. I had a look at the archives page. It looks as though the records do exist and contain some very useful information. I'm hoping to go to Adelaide later this year so I will definitely be visiting the state archives.
