Hello!
Firstly I beg your pardon both for grammar mistakes (I am not English) and because I am not suore if this is the correct place where post my quest.
However, I need help to find informations about my great grandpa. He was a Soldier of the Italian Army in North Africa during the WWII. In 1943 he was taken prisoner by the English Army in Tunisia and sent to Stanhope Camp in Ashford. In 1946 he was released and he returned to Italy. These are the informations that I have found on "Italian documents". I wonder if England produced documents for his prisoners and, if yes, where could I find them.
Thank you very much!
Nico
