Post HI from somewhere in Britain

I'm not being cagey. It's just that I'm touring Britain in a motorhome taking photographs (when the enthusiasm flows) and visiting places connected with family history, mainly Cleobury Mortimer, Shropshire and Wigan, Lancashire areas. I have trees on Anc***** 'Boraston/Tyler' and 'Wilson/Berry'. Wilson branch start in Glasgow area according to earliest info I've found 1851 Wigan, England census and 1841 Renfrewshire, Scotland and 1840 marriage proclamations in Barony and Old Monkland 1840 Parish Records. Berry is Wigan area. Boraston branch is Rock, Bayton, Worcestershire and Cleobury Mortimer, Shropshire area. Tyler is Tenbury Wells, Worcestershire and Ludlow, Shropshire areas. Relatives from both branches have emmigrated to USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand at various times from late 19th to mid 20th Centuries.

    Regards Malcolm.

Welcome to the British-Genealogy forums Malcolm

    Your travels sound absolutely wonderful.
If you need help with any of your ancestors just pick a suitable forum and post what you know. Help won't be long coming, meanwhile enjoy the touring holiday, you lucky person.

Thanks Christina, I already need help choosing a forum Arthur Wilson married Ann Weir in 1840 with proclamations in Barony and Old Monkland, Lanarkshire, in 1841 census they are living in Cathcart, Renfrewshire. They are not that far apart on map. Should I post in Lanarkshire or Renfrewshire?
    Thanks Malcolm.

    Hi
Why not start in Lanarkshire? We can always move it later if needs be.

I no longer have a subscription to that site and have removed my trees.
Apologies to anyone who has tried to find them in the last 6 months or so. I forgot I had mentioned them here.

    Regards
    Malcolm.

    My travelling is over.
I've settled in Hereford, England, which gives me relatively easy access to the Shropshire, Worcestershire and Herefordshire Archives.
My maternal ancestors frequented all three counties. Inconsiderate lot

Oh I love Hereford! I don't have ancestors there - not that I have found yet - but we have been there several times over the years
Sadly, our dear friend Ann (alias Ladkyis) passed away on Thursday, 26th. December, 2019.
